How to slice homemade bread

“After some trial and error I finally came up with a simple, effective design that worked like a dream. I can now slice homemade bread perfectly every time, right down to the crust.”

I have always enjoyed baking my own bread, it’s so much healthier and cheaper than most shop-bought offerings – and it also tastes so much better!

Modern bread making machines take all the effort out of producing wonderful home baked loaves but the problem arose when it came to cutting my homemade bread. No matter how careful I was the bread slices ended up too thick, too thin or so uneven they would burn in the toaster.

I looked at various bread slicing products designed to make the job easier but they were either too complicated, bulky or just plain inefficient – so I decided to make my own.

After some trial and error I finally came up with a simple, effective design that worked like a dream. It enables me to cut thick or thin bread slices perfectly every time, right down to the crust.

Before long, friends and family were asking me to make them one too and so the Eezi-Slice thick and thin wooden bread board was born. I hope you’ll agree that the simplest ideas are often the best and the Eezi-Slice breadboard really is “the best thing for unsliced bread..!”
